The question is; 'what is Australian food'? The answer is; probably BBQ. And consequently you would think that there would be shops everywhere selling BBQ meals, but this is not the case. The food here is principally Thai Street Food, good quality, nourishing, fast and plenty of it. Perhaps for a successful BBQ you need your own hands cooking it?
Humour is one thing that you get (need) in Australia. What do you call a boomerang that doesn’t come back? A stick! Why did the kangaroo stop drinking coffee? Because it made him too jumpy. Why did the crocodile cross the road? To get to the other swamp!
Escape Manor is a great place with larger than life games masters. We were on death row about to be electrocuted and the room was realy good. Of course, eventually I had to sit in the chair while Liz threw the giant switch. But that was not the end, we overstayed the time by three minutes, to escape the chair.
Everyone we encountered has been good to us, it has been amazing. Very reassuring to know Audley were there if things went wrong, which to some extent they did regarding Alfred. Especially warm welcomes at Croquet clubs and wonderful to have played in NZ & A.
Now is the time to hang my mouse up and find a way to end this marathon blog. It is as if my mouse knows, as it ceased to work a few moments ago. Liz found me a new battery so I can write the last sentence, when I think of it.
Down-under, not much longer, it has been great to write a blog once again, thanks for reading all my stuff.
