The last book move I play, 13...Qd7 connects the rooks and introduces ideas of capturing on h3 twice while the pf2 is pinned and not protecting the N. Tony moves his king and the game is even. My notes say I wanted to prevent f4 and I slept on 16...g5. There is an irony in the way I am playing actively in this game for a change. Stockfish wants the classical counter in the center 17.d4 as a reply to the flank advance. But after 17.Nh4 Nxh5 18. Qxh5 Kg7 19. Bxg5 hxg5 20. Qxg5+ is an effortless draw for white. I surprise myself in seeing I avoid this.

After a few 'nothing moves' 20.Nh4 is a mistake. The position opens up with the Bc1 at home and the white rooks unconnected.

But here Tony resigned with a short letter regarding pressure of business.At least I was active in this game. It remains level.
