Mr Ali withdrew from the tournament and I was awarded this game. I was playing this system at congresses at the time.

12.Nc4 Nxe4 13.Ng5 Nc5 better for black.

12.Ne1 with idea Nd3 was something I had tried before without an advantage although Stockfish likes it.

The move played seeks to prevent ...f5 for as long as possible but Stockfish now likes black.

With 13.Nb3 I give up the intended Nc4 idea to simply hinder 14...Nc5.

14...Nf8 is strong, probably winning. My pieces are scattered and do not combine. This was an escape for me, perhaps everyone else as well!
